A typical cuban-american miami girl, drawing and celebrating femmes in new york city.
I left Miami at 18 to pursue my dream of becoming an illustrator. In 2015 I graduated from School of Visual Arts with a BA in Illustration. While in school I was mentored by my personal heroes, Chris Buzelli and Yuko Shimizu. In 2017, I partnered with comedic writer, Dan Fox, to create a children's book called "Hey Zoey! Get Off Your Phone!". A passion project that aims to teach digitally-native kids that friendship is more important than their devices. I continue to live in New York (despite the cold and lack of pastelitos de guayaba) as a strong, independent freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
